Record your riff, your cover, your arrangement, or your own take inspired by this theme. Keep it personal, keep it musical, and make it sound like you.

Rules

Please read the rules carefully before submitting. They keep the contest fair for everyone, and breaking them may reduce your vote score.

• Theme [-50%]: Play shit matching the theme only, even reworked, it must stay in this scope.
• On Time [-30%]: Enroll on time, respect the deadline.
• Duration [-25%]: Stay under 90 seconds. Not a second more!!
• Backtrack [-20%]: Let us just hear you, just you, don't play the real track in the background.
• Visual "RIFF LIFE" [-10%]: "Riff Life" must appear visually all along your video in any form: hand-written paper, video watermark, or official T-shirt worn: it's up to you!
• Orientation [-5%]: Use 'landscape' mode, in your video, avoid the use of 'portait' one.

Before the gate closes

Take your time, polish your take, and make sure your entry is uploaded before the deadline. Once submissions close, the contest will move to voting.

• Until Jul 31st, Preparation phase: Choose what to play, how to play it, and practice as much as you want.
• From Aug 1st 'till Aug 23rd, Enrollment phase: Record and submit your video to join the contest.
• From Aug 24th 'till Aug 31st, Voting phase: Listen to other's videos and give medals to your very own "Top 3".
• On Sep 1st, Results time: Every participants' total scores are published, and rewards are shipped to the winners.
