RIFF LIFE is thrilled to announce our "For Whom the Bass Tolls" contest, a celebration of the love for Cliff and the joy of playing his music.

Select one of the many Cliff bass line that speaks to you most, and practice it.
Capture a video of your live performance played with heart.
Upload your video below

No Remorse

Rules to respect (any violation could discard your participation):

"Riff Life" must appear visually all along your video in any form: hand-written paper, video watermark or official T-shirt worn: it's up to you!
We must hear only you playing, with no backtrack, and not mixed with several takes
Respect length: 60 seconds maximum
Use landscape mode, not portrait...
Respect the theme: Play a part played by Cliff in the Metallica records or lives, either note-for-note, or even better: arranged through your own filter: unleash your creativity!!

Make sure you follow these rules, when you record your video!!

Time Marches On!

- Until June 7th, Preparation phase
- From June 8th, Enrollment phase: Come and submit your Riff to get in the contest.
- From July 7th, Voting phase: Listen to other Riffs and give medals to your own "Top 3".
- On July 8th, results are published, and reward are shipped to the winners.
