So I’ve been playing guitar (and Metallica songs on guitar) for the better part of 30 years and the tail of the main riff in ”Blackened” always tripped me up and I never “mastered” it so I’ve been working on it lately, and I’m getting close I feel. The thing that helped make it “click” was the tail doesn’t end on an open E it ends on an F which is why the timing always messed me up, so I just practiced the tail and stopped on the F for a while and then I threw it in with the riff and it made WAY more sense…Guitar is an ESP Explorer Amp is a Mesa Boogie JP2C Cab and Speakers are a Mesa Boogie oversized straight 4x12 with Vintage 30’s
