The Complete RIFF LIFE Guide
This guide is designed to help you make the most out of our community.
Here, you can learn about the core concept of the family, and the main features of our website.
Flow Page Guide
The "Flow" page is the main page of "RIFF LIFE", where you can view the latest Riffs uploaded by Riffers in the community.
The page has filters capability: Riffer, Album, Song and Bookmarks. You can filter the Riffs displayed by playing with any of these filters (see the "filtering" section).
You can rate a Riff by clicking on one of the five levels under the video. This rating system helps Riffers get feedback on their performances and encourages them to improve.
You can also leave a comment on any Riff to show support or offer advice to the Riffer who posted it, and reply to any comment directly under it.
Bookmarks
Whether you want to keep it aside for you to watch it again later or to build your own list, you can use the bookmark feature on any Riff.
To add a Riff to your bookmarked ones, just click on top-left corner of the given Riff.
To remove a Riff from your bookmarks, click on top-left corner of the given Riff.
Filtering
The list of Riffs can be filtered to display only what you want to see.
- The "Riffer" filter allows you to view Riffs uploaded by a specific Riffer. Click on a Riffer name to see their Riffs only.
- The "Album" filter allows you to view Riffs from a specific Metallica album. Click on an album cover to see Riffs from that album only.
- The "Song" filter allows you to view Riffs for a specific Metallica song. Click on a song name to see all Riffs for that song.
- The "My Bookmarks" filter allows you to view Riffs you have set as bookmarked before. Click on the checkbox in the filter area to turn it on and off.
Filters are cumulated with each other, and can be individually removed by clicking them on the bottom-left corner...
