This newsletter is just a small celebration, as RIFF LIFE just got approved to become a Chapter of official Metallica fan club, aka. "Met Club"!!

 

Wait, what!?

Yes! Guys there recognized the fact that our community gathers Metallica fans from all around the world and even if we're not a "Local Chapter", as we have not a unique geographical location, they made of RIFF LIFE a new official "Internet Chapter".

So we've been registered officially on their records: we've been given the #573 as identifier, and RIFF LIFE as name, and we now appear on metallica.com official website!!

Cool, but what does it change for RIFF LIFE?

Having this community, where any fan who's playing or singing Metallica songs can share it with others, officialized, brings us following benefits:

• More visibility, so more people can come and listen to what we do, and more Riffers can also join our family. Maybe even Lars sniffing around will watch some of our Riffs ? 🙂
• Legal existence, which allows us to request permission to use Metallica logo and other material to create goodies: t-shirts, guitar picks, etc... in total respect of laws and 'tallica copyrights.

Other than that, our daily activities will not change much, but we're now the RIFF LIFE family, an official part of the Metallica family...

Ok, got it... but what else?

RIFF LIFE website keeps growing, it's now 97 Riffers and 93 Riffs.
Don't hesitate to promote it around you... the more we are on there, the better it will be for us all...

Keep in mind: anyone can share, whatever the skills level: may you be just starting to play few notes, or knowing every song note-for-note, you'll always find friendly ears to listen to your work. We have as a rule to be nice with each others, which makes a huge difference to feel "Welcome Home".

I wish you to feel like home and have fun around here, as "Nothing Else Matters".
I really can't wait see you "Jump in the Fire" and post your next Riffs!!!
