Contests
The arena awaits. Contests are special events where the community unites around a theme to compete for glory, honor, and sometimes even prizes.
The Cycle of Battle
Every contest follows three phases:
- Enrollment: The theme is announced (e.g., "Fastest Downpicking" or "Best Black Album Solo"). You record your take and upload it to the contest page.
- Voting: Submissions close. The family watches the entries and votes for the champions. This is your chance to support your favorite Riffers and have your say.
- Results: The dust settles, votes are tallied, and the winners are enshrined in a special results video.
How to Enter
- Check the Contests tab for active events.
- Read the rules carefully—some contests might require specific gear, songs, or playing styles.
- Upload your Riff and tag it specifically for the contest.
Rewards
Winners get the glory, shout-outs on the site, and the undying respect of the entire RIFF LIFE family. Sometimes we even have physical swag or exclusive gear for the top shredders!
