Join the Band

Welcome to the family! Before you can unleash your first Riff and shake the earth, you need to join the ranks. Here is how to plug into the RIFF LIFE network and become a full-fledged Riffer.

Create Your Account

  1. Click Signup in the top header.
  2. Fill in your details:
    • Chosen Name: Your unique Riffer identity. Make it memorable, like a stage name.
    • First & Last Name: Who you really are (kept private, used for official stuff).
    • Email: Your contact channel. We won't spam you—we only send the heavy stuff.
  3. Choose a password that even the Four Horsemen couldn't crack.
  4. Prove you're human with the Captcha (robots can't headbang).
  5. Check your inbox for the confirmation email and validate your address to activate your status.

Tip: Every Riffer needs their own account. If you share a house with other metalheads, make sure you each have your own login so your stats and glory remain yours alone.

Secure Your Gear

  • Keep your password unique to RIFF LIFE.
  • Always check you are on the official site (https://riff-life.com).
  • If you smell a rat, alert the admins immediately.

Tune Your Profile

Once you are in, click your avatar to access Account Settings. This is your backstage pass.

  • Avatar: Upload a square image that represents you. Show your face, your guitar, or your metal spirit.
  • Bio: Tell the family your story in the "About me" section. What was your first Metallica concert? What's your favorite gear?
  • Instruments: Select the axes you wield. This helps others find you based on what you play.
  • Fifth Member: If you are part of the official Met Club (Metallica's official fan club), link your email here to display the badge of honor on your profile.

You are ready. Go say hello on the Flow, comment on a few Riffs, and let the community know you have arrived.
