Quizzes

Think you know every note Hetfield ever picked? Prove it. The Quizzes section is where Riffers test their ear, their eyes, and their Metallica knowledge.

Official Challenges

We have set up some standard gauntlets for you to run:

  • Name The Songs: We play a clip, you name the track. Sounds easy? Wait until you hear the obscure B-sides and live jams.
  • Spot Songs Out: Which of these songs does NOT belong? Find the intruder among a set of tracks.
  • Find The Tabs: Match the tab notation to the correct song. For the true theory nerds and shredders.
  • Setlist Challenge: We give you a date and venue (e.g., Seattle '89), you have to guess the songs played. How well do you know the tour history?

Custom Quizzes

The family creates the hardest challenges. In the Custom Quizzes section, you can play games built by other Riffers. Expect deep cuts, tricky live versions, and creative themes that will stump even the die-hards.

Want to stump the community?

  1. Go to the My Quizzes section.
  2. Give your quiz a name and some cool cover art.
  3. Build Questions: Select Riffs to serve as the clues.
  4. Upload Secret Riffs: Use the "Quiz Mode" on the upload page to add Riff clips that won't appear on the public Flow.
    Important: You must upload a Riff file directly for quiz questions. YouTube links are not supported (they make cheating too easy!).
