Guide The RIFF LIFE Field Manual

Welcome to the definitive companion for every member of the RIFF LIFE Metallica family.
Use these pages to learn the ropes, master the features, and keep the metal spirit blazing across the community.

Riffs & Feedback

A Riff is more than just a video; it's a tribute. Every time a Riffer uploads a cover, they are adding to the legacy of Metallica. Here is what you will find on every Riff card and how to interact with the family.

The Riff Card

The central stage for every performance:

  • The Player: The main screen. Whether it's a direct file or a YouTube link, this is where the metal happens.
  • Title & Story: Read why the Riffer chose this song or what gear they used to get that specific crunch.
  • Tags: Click the Song or Album name to instantly filter the Flow and find more covers of the same track.
  • The Artist: Click the Riffer's name/avatar to visit their profile and see their full catalog of work.
  • Stats: See how many times this Riff has been played and watched by the community.

Feedback Etiquette

We are here to help each other get better. Respect and friendship are key.

  • Be Specific: Instead of just "Good job", try "That downpicking on the bridge was tight!" or "Great tone on the solo."
  • Be Constructive: If you hear a mistake, point it out gently and offer a tip. "Try slowing down the solo to nail those bends perfectly."
  • Be Respectful: Remember, there is a real person on the other side of the screen who loves Metallica just as much as you do. We are family.
